Wait a minute......did they route the belt correctly? I think the blower is turning the wrong way! You have 18 in. Of vacuum, not boost! J/j with ya bro...I'm hoping you get it figured out. Still hadn't heard what gear and rpm your going through the traps at...

Honestly I don't know what gear I was in at the traps, should have paid more attention. (I will next time) It does seem to bog down abit from 1st-2nd, other shift points seem smoother with down bogging. |

OP's gaining roughly 24-25mph from the 1/8 to the 1/4, IMO that seems about right, first part of the track is where the problem lies.

Beers on me, when you guys get me into the low 11's.
I pretty sure I'm heading to NorCal on the 27th for the drags. Will keep track of everything each run and report back. Still waiting on the shop to get back to me regarding this issue. I'll post their reply. THANKS AGAIN !! |

Here's a good DA calculator for you.

Any chance you logged a run or two? That would give some good clues as to if it's pulling timing, seeing knock, etc and will tell you exactly when the trans is shifting. That way you'll know exactly and not guess at the tach. It will also let you know what direction to go when you make adjustments. Good luck!

I have EFI Live and HP Tuners so next time we meet at the track I can log your runs.
I the meantime get that dyno sheet from the shop. I am sure they can email it to you. I am not too sure of low 11's based on you trap speed and previous times but mid 11's should be a snap. If we can figuer out what is holding you back then 600rwhp should be low 11's though. I went 10.9 with 640rwhp but the tranny was not too happy about it. Circle D just rebuilt it and as soon as it comes in I will give it another shot. BTW, auto's are the bomb! I haven't seen a stick at the track faster than the autos. I know they are out there but none has stepped up yet.

DA for the 8pm run was 2370ft. Best run corrects to 11.777 at 118.219. Best run corrected RWHP is about 550. http://www.dragtimes.com/drag-racing...tors-tools.php I'm guessing track and track prep is the problem. Some tracks are just always 2-3 tenths slower. I've raced in California at Carlsbad and it was just plain slow. Padre |
