Because no real man needs no computer to tell him how to do something or when to do it. That's why I turn that shit off, pull a pin on a hand grenade, and just let it roll around in my passenger seat. Nothing better and manlier then a live M67 rolling around next to you while driving around with the nannies off.

I'd like to ask a few of the guys that ended up in a ditch or sign or tree or building if they liked having the nannies off lmao. That's why people associate having them off with doing bad things, because it just opens the door for those things to happen.
Funny you say that....the very first time I turned everything off I lost it. It was raining and I was making a right turn getting on the expressway. I gave it a little to much gas and started spinning. Heading towards the guard rail on the left and a big ditch on the right. Thankfully I controlled the car well enough that I didn't hit anything, the only damage was my ego because a Mustang GT was right behind me.

I always turn everything off(hold for 7 seconds), TC uses the rear brakes to limit tire slip. So if you drive around with TC on you're using up your rear brakes. I'm sure it's not a huge deal be it is what it is.

Seems everyone relates turning the nannies off with putting the hammer down and that's not the case. You can drive normally with them off lol.

.

LOL. TC is only going to come on under limited circumstances, same with stabilitrack. you can "drive around with TC on" for a year and never have it engage or add any additional wear to your brakes.

these are passive systems, when you hold the button in your not really turning them off, (as they aren't really on) your disabling them. reading some of this (especially the "I'm not letting the computer drive for me" ones ) I wonder if some of you guys even know how they work.

Always turn them off. Don't want them.

Thanks, I was about to say something too. Where do people come up with this shit?

For those that are not used to a high powered RWD car, you're best to leave them on. Take them off on a track or back road when you're ready to play with the car. But work up to it, don't just hammer it and go. You may wind up parking in a ditch or eating a wall. The first time I tracked my car I left them on for the first few sessions to learn the track. After that it was all systems off and as I learned the feel of the car and my lap times kept going down.

yea, it's like unplugging your printer every time you sit down at your computer so it won't start randomly printing stuff.
