For the last few years, I've been using a 20-foot Car Mate CM820C-CT with 2 X 3500# axles. The goal as I built it up was to be able to put as much into the trailer as possible - the following ended up in it:

Wall-to-Wall Moduline Aluminum Cabinets and Tool Chest
Folding Couch/Bed
Interior Fluorescent Lighting
Wall-Mounted Rack for 8 Tires
Floor-Mounted Stands for 8 More Tires
Gas Bottle
E-Track to Hold 3 Square Fuel Jugs
White Vinyl Walls
Aluminum Diamond Plate Floor
Tie-Down Hangers
Wall Mount for TV.

This was built for a 2700# car, so it's not ideal for the Camaro. If I were to tow a Camaro in an enclosed trailer, I'd go 24' with 5000# axles.

The photos were taken before the trailer was cleaned after a trip; the two floor-mounted sets of tires left rubber on the cabinets because somebody forgot the tire covers. :-/

Good catch! I updated the list to include the Camco Trailer Aid.

Based upon what I've read, not heard, that unit is not likely to work with a spread axle. One source is Amazon, which shows that 10% of reviewers are already having trouble lifting their second wheel off the ground. Most of those reviewers appear to have standard axle spacing (e.g., horse trailers).

I haven't used mine since I bought it. It was suggested to me by a couple of other trailer owners so I picked one up. Also suggested was that I carry two spares because it wasn't uncommon to lose both tires on the same side in a single incident. I'd guess the only use for the Trailer Aid in that circumstance would be to reduce the amount of jacking you have to do.

Just finished the setup for this Race Season.

24' ATC with Premium Escape Door, Heat/AC, Powered Awning and Full Cabinets
Custom Manufactured Generator Box for Yamaha EF2000ISEB
Custom Manufactured (By Me in my sheet metal shop) Tongue Plate
Added Cabinets in the back of the garage for more storage
Also picked up 2 Kawaskai KLX110 Pit Bikes for the "crew"

So far the Camaro has fit like a glove in the trailer and the new 2014 GMC Sierra 6.2L has pulled the whole rig like a champ!

Now I need to figure out 4 or 5 Large Motorcycle Wheel Chocks that are removable for my other hobby.
