Texas speed money shot

Just thought i share a picture of my cam install. I also noticed that with the water pump out of the way, you have access to all 6 bolts on the snout. So guess what’s going to weapon-x for a port job.

Thanks Rob. It’s taking me forever started on Sunday night. Only get a hour or so a night. Family and business always in the way lol. But can’t wait to get it back together and tuned for spring.

Do you have any head work done? I have my crank pulley off and darn it’s tempting to keep going? Would be my 1st cam install in a Chevy.

Well, even though i had access to all 6 snout bolts you still can’t remove it without pulling the supercharger. I broke it loose and couldn’t get it freed. So i still had to pull the supercharger so i can seal it back up after its ported. Oh and my 2017 replacement supercharger had the spring loaded isolated. So it does look like they went back to that style at some point.

This is what I am worried about to. I had my supercharger replaced like 6 months ago and starting to hear a clanking sound already. I just wonder if it is the isolator.
