I have full stick glass so opportunities there down the road. Stock exhaust still and spare tire well, z/28 suspension (no coilovers) so just there well over 100lbs in additional savings possible. My cage is about 120lbs so without it could be in the 3200s but all with time.
The antitheft is part of EVM so cant just remove it, I havent bothered to look more i to it since I figured a way out and has been working for 3 years now so no biggie.

Went to the track last weekend. GREAT weather.
While I was there I checked out some TT cars. There was a really assume TT1 CTSV there. After checking it out and due the hassels with whether or not you can delete itmes from the stock harness I made a decision. Even thou I might never get there I'm going to build the car for TT1. It happens I have a LS2 block 454 in the shop. So I might as well put it to use. I'll completely gut the car and not worry about any of the existing harnesses. I just have a stand alone harness made. I will also go with a race dash with gauges/information that is actually useful. Thinking about getting a Jerrico trans as well. Now come the Aero question. Does anyone know who makes serious fender flares for our cars? If I'm going this route I might as well put the largest tires I can under it. Hoping someone make flares large enough to fit 335's or 345's. Thanks Craig

Still working on removing the inner wheel well. Damn there are a LOT of spot welds.
As a distraction I decided to replace the front control arms. I tried to order Z28 front control arms. I ordered part numbers 23105014, 23105015, 23105018, & 21305019. According to the casting numbers on the control arms it appears I got 92236898, 92236899, 20951300, & 20951301. The bushings on these have spaces in the bushings, I assume to soften the ride. Can anyone tell me, or post a picture, if the Z28 control arms have the spaces? My understanding is the only difference between the SS & Z28 control arms is the bushings. I just want make sure I'm getting the correct parts before a raise a ruckus with Rock Auto. Thanks Craig

I posted in your other thread but will repeat here:
I went 6th gen front radius rods with sphericals... Starts here: https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...85577&page=172 https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...85577&page=173 https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...85577&page=174 https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...85577&page=175 Saved weight and stronger bushing. Gained a lot of castor! If you don’t want sphericals, get the 2017 SS 1LE radius Rods and get the sleeves and bolts/nuts Also note I used the brake duct cooling... My entire build thread is mod city and performance/suspension upgrades ;o) -Don

I want to thank everyone that helped me out.
I think they are the Z28 control arms. It was a bit confusing the Z28 forward arms have a whitish center piece. The arms that cam off the car had similar color center pieces. The difference was the hardness. Thanks again. Craig

Yes it's started. Haven't made a lot of progress.
I'm still trying to get someone to straighten out the left rear quarter. Other than that I'm collecting parts while trying to work within my budget. Thought I had a deal on a ZL1 M6 but it seems that deal fell thru. The motor is going together and should be ready in a few weeks. I visited Vorshlag while I was in Texas, great guys. I'm also trying to get my 1970 Camaro back together. Not enough hours in the day or enough energy to do all that is needed. Thanks Craig

Oh man your swamped. You better go buy those brembo race brakes from Jtrax you will not have a chance to buy $10k brakes for that money again. I just ran mine a few weeks ago for first time this year after crash last year. Damn I missed it. All the best man!

OK you pushed me over the edge and I bought the brakes from Jtrax. That pushes back buying a trans for a month or so but that's OK. I'm heading to the track this weekend. That's how I like to clear my head. One more weekend scheduled after this one before the cold shuts us down. Craig

Good couple of days at the track. Went Friday, Saturday. I was scheduled to go tomorrow (Sunday) but the forecast is 100% chance of rain. I don't do rain since I wrecked my car in the rain last spring.
Bested my track best by .30 seconds. I thing I could have bettered that but was on a really good lap and at the last 200 yds I got behind a slower car. I have another weekend scheduled in mid November. Hopefully I can get some better laps then. Craig

Not yet. The car is at a friends shop getting some body work done. Should have it back in January.
