Maybe a matte white wrap for the whole car...like the 2014 Z/28 show car that was originally released.

The is the second alteration of this car. The first one was satin white as you mentioned. The wing took the car in a different direct ..... more race car thyme hence the wilder wrap scheme.

I don't mind the tall spoiler in the rear but they should've removed the factory spoiler on the trunk. Two spoilers on the rear looks odd.

This was one of those things were the owner wanted a wing. At the same time, he didn't like the look of the trunk without a spoiler.

So he gave a lot of thought on how to do some sort of compromise. He replaced the Z/28 spoiler with a Saleen spoiler since it has a lower profile.
Obviously when you push the envelope it's not going to be everybody cup of tea.

The canards are one off. We hook up the owner with the splitter and wing from APR.

What I don't get is, from the outside, how can you tell where to drill for the spot weld positions?

Do you have to drop all the trim and headlining from the inside...?

Once you remove the front and rear glass, it will expose the spot welds. When you remove the roof moldings, there's a bead of sealer that we need to be removed to expose the welds.

You don't need to remove the headliner to do the install. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Eric, we took it down because I'm in the process of creating a new site. Next June I'm done with my engineering degree and will have more time to devote to the business side.

Right now its, kinda crazy! We are currently designing and machining prototype parts for the 6th gen market. We will post more details once they are done in the next couple of weeks. We are also designing and making several 1000's private label for the six gen market.

We will be making some new suspension parts for the 5th gen market, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, if you need any help, just send me a PM.

So what is the drivetrain? LSA or LS7? Looks like it is a ZL1 that has been modded but I did not see anything about the powertrain.

Just my two cents but the wrap is a bit too gaudy for me and I would lose one of those rear wings - two of them looks so Ricer-ish.

Thanks for the informative post. It does, good news on not having to mess up the interior.

It's definitely something I fancy doing to mine one day. Do you have a ball-park figure for the weight saving on a CF roof skin?

Who made the carbon panel? Anderson Composites?

Merry Christmas from the UK

No problem, here to help! The roof is about 10 lbs. lighter if I remember right. I know the combination of our dry carbon hood, trunk and roof was approximately a 50lbs. savings.

The roof is a AC product. We originally brought Seibon the a stock roof so that they could makes the molds before the created the spin off company AC.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

It's a V6 but it has a cold air intake and cherry booms so it sounds intimidating!

With the amount of dough he's spending on this and the badges alone, leads me to believe your statement is a funny...
