LS1 LS3 LS6 Clutch Kits Same???

Do all these engines use the same clutch kits/flywheels?
Different pilot bearings?

same basic setup. Are you looking for a stock replacement or aftermarket? Or just curious.

Something a little better then stock.
The 2014 Camaro SS 1LE is mostly relegated to weekend warrior track status.
Headers n tune coming. Clutch is about gone.

Stock Clutch kit will hold cold air intake, headers, even new cam horsepower. If the old unit is dying tho, a new clutch and associated parts, etc. are expensive. So do it once....meaning put the clutch in that will support your future power goals.

McLeod, Centerforce, and Monster have popular units. Several add-on parts are done by most while it's all torn apart. A new slave, Monster billet support, stainless clutch line, Speed-bleed line, spilt brake/clutch reservoirs, DOT 4, etc.

Ya, ARP or GM bolt kit, etc., etc.

No personal experience with SPEC. I've heard good and bad.

I was recommended the LS9 clutch kit. They say it holds up to 7000 or 7500rpms but yet feels like the stock clutch. If you are looking for just a little over stock. The Flywheel bolt pattern is different. But Katech offers a kit for the whole thing.

Called SPEC today.
Seems i can use the SP093H its a SPEC Stage 2+.
Only difference is the clutch is 1/4 smaller - 11 3/4" versus 12"
Shouldn't make a noticeable difference.
I couldn't pass up.
With flywheel under $400 delivered.

IT WAS almost a $1000.
My buddy bought for his corvette.
Then upped his power and went to a twin disc instead.
There is ton reviews either way on EVERY manufacturer.

Ill try and report back either way.

Im not a fan of resurfacing the flywheel. So really a no brainer.
