Cause then you don't have to spend $1000 on a stand alone-you can tune the tranny from the factory ECM.

So doing more research and it there seems to be a lot of 6l90 failures.

Getting confused as to what to do. I'm sure I can get into the 9's banging gears but how far we'll see. I want consistency.

The U.S. Shift controller for the 4L80 is nice and less than 1/2 of $1000.

I would rather have one of the fastest stick cars out there rather than the bottom of the list running an auto!

If it was mostly a strip car then absolutely. If it gets driven on the street, full line pressure shifts would get old quick imo

I would think you need to change the complete wiring harness from a M6 to A6 so it can be a plug and play. Then up load an auto tune to your ECU. GM does sells the wiring harness, its about $230. I would like to do the same thing, the only regret I have with my car is getting a M6.

I believe Baumann was working on a standalone controller for the A6 transmission. I have their US Shift controller on my 4L80E and it is a really nice, cost-effective piece.

I guess nobody reads my posts. Lol. Ask josh at starkweather performance or mylftft what it costs. He did my car and i swapped it back to m6. Not cheap at all. Start adding up the parts and one will see. Wiring and programming a manual computer takes time to get right. Its not plug and play like some people think. Manual cars are missing stuff not associated with the auto.

Does anyone know the difference between the L99 and LS3 wiring harness connectors that go to the transmission? I just need to know if they are similar.

This post is probably dead but hopefully someone can chime in, I want to do a TH400 with a manual valve body. Coming from a M6, approaching the 1,000rwhp mark, getting annoying burning my rxt clutch up in traffic lol

What your looking to do is not difficult. It has been done and documented on here many times.
