I did the Revshift insert and another mode in effort to reduce movement and tighten up the shift feel which it did very well…however that harmonic vibration between 30-40mph and one slightly at higher speeds became to annoying and removed it…so I dropped the dime and installed the MGW shifter and have not looked back...I may look at that 1LE/Z28 factory trans mount down the road if needed.

I had the MGW in my last camaro and I loved it, easily the best shifter I've ever used, as soon as I can free up the funds, I'll be ordering it, I ordered the 1LE/Z28 yesterday evening... that plus a full poly bushing upgrade should get this car feeling alot more solid...

It's strange how loose and soft the car feels with only 20k miles on it, my 40k mile 2010 felt a lot more solid even before I built either of them...

If not, its only money!
Did you ever install the Z/28-1LE trans mount? If so, what'd you think of it?

Poly redshift in mine with solid bmr mounts car vibrates for sure but settles down with more miles. Feels solid and precise would recommend for a max street car

Good info. I need to climb under mine and confirm, but I'm pretty sure my stock 2011 trans mount is pretty beat up. Got the cradle tightened up on aluminum bushings, the diff on BMR Pro's, and so now the trans mount has been the only thing left other than motor mounts with some give to it. I may just try the 20952439 mount with a rev-shift insert and see if I can tolerate the NVH.

It’s gonna be loud at first but give it like 500 miles lol after that it’s pretty nice with the shifts a little smoother and turning corners feels planted. When u install the rev shift make sure u jack the trans up enough or it won’t fit lol I learned the hard way.

I have a revshift insert sitting in a box. I forgot all about it until I saw this post. Lol

Hey guys, I once ordered the rev shift insert and upon installing it with my stock trans mount I put the car back down and 2nd gear was hard to get into. I then took the modified mount off and ordered an original trans mount and has no issues after that what could have caused this ?

I took the revshift back out of mine, NVH was just too obnoxious...even for me.
