But what about the guy in the black vette?

You can't honestly say that if you were driving the Black vette, and you heard some tires breaking loose to your left that you wouldn't have either mashed the brakes or sped up to avoid the impending doom.

Don't get me wrong, this is all completely the white vette's fault, but I sure as heck would have tried to avoid the collision if I were in the black vette...

well, he swerved into the black vette...lol

but he also locked up the brakes as well and tried to steer it with the wheels locked.... doesnt work too well

ideally, if he would have just let off of both pedals (or all 3 if its a manual) then tried to steer out of it, he might have been ok.

Depends on how the tires break loose. If you hit a patch of ice, then yes, not much noise is made. But in this particular instance you could easily hear the guy's engine rev up and hear the exhaust pitch get noticeably louder

Hey, I think the guy in the white vette is a moron just as much as everyone else. I just thought it interesting that the guy in the black vette didn't make any kind of avoidance maneuvers until the white vette was literally a few inches away from him.

I understand. but just like on the highway when someone isnt really paying attention to the person in the lane next to them till its too late. he might have been keeping his eyes on the car in front of him so as to not plow into him.
