I say zl1. You rarely ever see an Abm available right now. People want it. It probably has your max value right now. If it is a financial issue then no don't do it.

Me, personally, if I was in that position I'd make the trade 'cause it's an AMAZING vehicle, and one that I will eventually own...but that's just me. From the logical side of things, consider the TOTAL cost of owning a ZL1 before you make that jump. For starters, the tires....if it's a daily driver, you're gonna wear out a set of VERY EXPENSIVE tires in no time. Eagle F1s are designed to hold the road...not to last. I'd be surprised if you got more than 10K on them before needing to replace the set. And with the offset sizes as well as the fact that they are directional, you can't rotate them to increase their lifespan. You'll also likely get shorter life from the magnetic ride suspension than standard shocks. There are other performance features of the ZL1 that may prove to require additional maintenance as well.
Then there's the insurance that will surely be higher than the SS. Not to mention that fact that you will be much more likely to get a ticket in that thing purely from its beastly nature and the irresistible urge to floor it!! All said, there's more to consider than just the sticker price. I'm just sayin'...

Keep it, right now the ZL1 is just an impulse purchase, it will pass.

I'm a Vette girl, too, and I really don't care for the zr1, either. I'm not a fan of ground effects or a hole in the hood that shows nothing! Now...if they made the Camaro vert in ABM, I might consider trading my ABM for that! |

I definitely wouldn't trade the ABM... its a very sought after color. You could try listing it and see if someone would pay a premium price for it. IMO, the few '10 ABM cars are the most likely to become collector cars. But, I doubt that any dealer would give you what its worth.

ABM is rare! Plus like someone already said, it always gets better, well until CAFE kicks in LOL. Wait and the ZL1 will probably have 600 horses by 2013.

I'm sorry but the idea that the color of your 2010 camaro will make it worth more than the ZL1 is crazy. The Z is gonna be the ultimate collectors Camaro. I would understand if this was about a 2012 ss trade in but it's not, it's the ZL1. All of its baddassness will be under warranty! If the ABM is worth something now sell it now. Don't wait for it to depreciate, cars are not investments and if your lucky enough to have one that's worth a pretty penny and you find a buyer who will pay top dollar well,......upgrade! The color of your car is great but a few thousand bucks can get you a nice rare paint job.
