From "Decoupler" Alternator Pulley to "non-decoupler"

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a high-output alternator from Apex and they are telling me the alternator comes with an overdriven (45mm vs 65mm stock) alternator pulley that is not the "decoupler" type.

Since our cars use the standard "decoupler" type, would this be a problem? Has anyone done this?

Thanks,
Pat

For context, a decoupler pulley is the type that spins freely when the motor decelerates. I believe a "regular" one would decelerate the alternator as the motor slowsdown.
