They cut the bottom of the fender way to close. If you go back to stock you just won't have any support for middle of fender but as long as you don't have someone leaning against it you'll be ok.

True.
In your case I'd simply add a small sheet metal support using tiger seal as the glue.

Completely reversible with note of what others have posted. Again though, you can open the door normally without the need to lift them.

Thanks for the input fellas. I've decided to look at a different car. This one is a good deal but it's not worth the effort to me.
