Yep, and short enough they make me shift to 4th just before the first set of lights in the quarter or hit the rev limiter. I'm going to look at different options, but I'm going to get the line-lock working before the track reopens mid-Feb. And, yes, all my timeslips were yellow tonight. There was a lot of fast cars out tonight including a '69 Camaro in the 10's(which is something if you look at the shutdown area of this track).

It was our last open track day until February. You guys up north with your 40* weather have it better than you know. It was good to meet BaylorAF tonight. The black/white looks sharp.

Nice run.

I am compiling the corrected DA list. I will post an update after Black Friday.

Fantastic! It's about time us in the deep south got some good temps!

Now I'm waiting for the nitrous run...

Thank - you, it has made my day, week and year.

I noticed you dropped the crown, I commented about this on the BF thread.

Orange cars are fast. Gotta love it. Wondering which run it was for you? So far, the last 2-times I've gone to the track it's been my first run and then I slow down. It might be a quality of clutch thing because the longer I'm out there the more the clutch starts to let me know it's not happy(through the smell).
I tried Scrmng's back to back runs and tried to get there for a third but ended up waiting due to the axle breaking on the pickup. GF and the 5-yr old said it was neat, the tire/axle stopped 20-ft from them. I ended up waiting 30+ minutes and getting mt second best time.

Our track is now closed until mid-Feb(they could stay open year round with this weather, we were our in long-sleeve t-shirts last night)I want negative DA without having to go somewhere cold.

The guys with the 5.0 asked me that while we waited. I got told how fast his car was and how he wasn't driving it as it was a relatively new ride for him. When we came back the guy driving his car parked next to me and they were telling me everything from, "it's not my car I don't want to break it", to "he's still trying to figure the car out", "traction-control" and all. If we were 1/8th mile track I would've tree'd him and stayed ahead.
I'll be back in Feb with the bottle strapped on and ready.

Extremely nice run especially with just an Injen and MRTs? Pretty damn impressive to say the least. How on earth did you get 103+ without more performance adders???

I could be wrong, but I think his biggest adder was the temp/da. Cold, but not too cold. My car likes a cool down(clutch heat).

Thank - you, lucky I guess. No head wind. It was a good day for running quick. Was on less than a 1/4 tank and had good gas?

By the way my next top 3 runs were:

13.860 @ 101.60
13.865 @ 102.91
13.878 @ 102.83

I made 12 passes today, of which 6 were better than 102.47 MPH

I did have good DA but it was not as good as we had 2 weeks ago at the same track. But I was running on a full tank of gas 2 weeks ago too.
