My 68 restoration project
This has been a 5 year project for me...
This was when I first got it, and it went to the first body shop. This shop did half ass repairs and basically ripped me off to the tune of 15k. Note to self: Real body shops don't pop rivet replacement panels in and actually use more than 4 tack welds to hold a roof panel on.

Restoration
Looks like there doing a great job. I just put my 55 Chevy in for body work & paint. It can be an expensive process but older cars hold there value much better. Post pictures when our finished.

PAINT PAINT PAINT
After waiting 2 months for the weather to break (hottest summer ever) next week is going to be in the low-mid 80's and is perfect Camaro painting weather! They sprayed a test panel for me just to make sure the paint matches where we edged everything in and its perfect. It's getting final sanding done Monday and Tuesday, sitting Wednesday and then getting painted Thursday, striped Friday, and baking over the weekend! It's come kind of far from this: [/quote]

It's coming along nicely. I certainly remember this long process. Can't wait to see the finished product.....and I'm sure you can't either!

The paint was just mixed. It's getting painted/striped Friday then comes the fun part of putting it all back together again.
