***UPDATE***

I had the resonated x pipe put on and I immediately didn't like it.
Cons: sounds stock above 4k rpms, lowered volume and low end torque loss.

Pros: Deeper sound (not louder), shifts feel quicker and killed some drone but not all

I've put a few hundred miles on it already and had the resonators taken out still no difference. Thinking about j pipes. Any advice on this? Thanks guys👍🏼

J pipes would kill the drone. I have MRT 2 with downpipes and x pipe. one of the best sounding setups

In that application they could be referring to the NNP dual tip exhaust.

Same setup with long tube headers and it sounds amazing

I replaced my stock with the Borla Attack Axel back's and have had zero drone issues. The down pipes and mid's are still all stock. The only time it gets aggressive loud is when I really hammer down on the gas.

Which x pipe are you running? I'm planning on doing an x pipe with mrt v1 and j pipes. How does your x pipe affect the performance?

So you have just the Mrt v2, high flow/cat delete downpipes and the magnaflow x pipe and don’t have any issues with drone? I’m trying to figure out what to do with my system and this is exactly what I was thinking of doing, just afraid of having drone

The Magnaflow 11386 X, no cats and muffler deletes isn't too terrible, and I'd think pairing it with any muffler instead of a muffler delete would be perfectly palatable. Lots of guys run the 11386 with MRT V2s with no issue, or other mufflers.

I have had several different set ups throughout my 4 years of ownership and always experienced some drone. Muffler delete to Flowmaster 40s to Jones Racing Mufflers. Crappy X pipe to magnaflow x pipe to resonated magnaflow x pipe. Resonator delete. Stock downpipes to ARH HFC. I believe there will always be some sort of drone around 2k RPM when removing the stock mufflers and the only thing which may actually help are J pipes, I think Solo has a catback with built in J pipes, but are pretty pricey for a catback.
