Thanks guys. I am running a VVT3 cam, and 3200 converter. I figure the price of cooler is cheap insurance. A transmission is too costly to ignore the heat situation created by the converter.

I asked this same question in the past few months..i dont race my car.. im 3rd stage cammed at 3200stall.. i bought a olug and olay system that piggyback into stock transcooler and also got the b&m trans pan.. and updated trans filter.. temps stay at 180 or 190 at all times 5hr drive or 20min burn outs
