I was faced with the same decision 2 years ago. If I had it to do over again I would still pick the F1-A. The sound of a F series procharger with the race valve is f'n awesome. My car makes 850 on pump and 900 on race gas and has for over 2 years. Stock bottom end and heads also.

If I would have stayed with the 376 I would still have the f1a. These turbos would have been fine on the 376.

Yet on other cars those turbos make 1000+rwhp all day long. They didn't recommend the wrong turbos, you just don't have the correct overall setup.

Plus sounds like you have a boost controller issue. Or swap the WG springs if you can't get the controller. Those will easily make 20+psi.

I told them what my overall setup was. I haven't gave up yet. If they will do it I'll make it happen. Have someone else helping me now. Switched back to a Maf tune so starting over on the tune.

What boost controller? 99% of issues like you are talking about are boost control strategy issues. Those turbos will make the power no problem.

I have the aem true boost. Kevin told me how to hook it up. Said they are known to drop boost at higher rpm. I unhooked the controller from the wg's to see if that would fix the over boost off the spring but didn't change anything. Once I get the tune worked out for the boost it will make now I will put bigger springs in.

AEM is BY FAR the worst controller on the market. It has no feedback. So you either get overboost, or can't hold boost to redline.

Once you get it to hold 21-22psi, 1000rwhp will be cake.

I have the AEM TruBoost. It works, well, okay. Yes, it does bleeds boost as the RPMs head north, by about 1-2#. It's crude, and probably the "simplest" electronic boost controller out there. I'd recommend "anything else."

For some reason, my family does not appreciate the Camaro, as much as the GMC Envoy....Something about not fitting the whole family in it.

I tell them ill follow.

My almost 2 year old love the camaro,(especially when he gets to pretend to drive it into the garage or just sitting in the drivers seat) but the lady doesn't like it when your give it some gas and it makes her tummy feel weird lol I told her wait till I actually have a good tune

Go for the twins. I have a D1sc and the whine gets really annoying sometimes. not to mention twin turbos can make a lot more power, size depending of course.
