Alarm/key/keyfob help requested. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Super odd thing happened to me and I cant figure out why. Was at work, parked the m6 5th gen ss in the garage, got out, locked the door, went to work. came back 8 hours later and the unlock button on the key fob wouldnt work. The lock, alarm, and trunk buttons still work, and I can still gain entry to the car with the key, but occasionally the alarm is tripped, and then wont shut off unless I spam all the buttons on the key fob. Key still works when starting the car.

Whats going on and how do I fix it?

I disconnected the battery and re connected it, and attempted to reprogram the key fob, still no deal.
