Just trying to see who is going to the race this weekend in Daytona. I'm leaving Orange Beach in South Alabama around 9am Friday morning. Going I-10 to Jacksonville and then down I-95. Should arrive around 4 or 5pm.

I am here in NASCAR turn 3 in the same spot we always get watching practice. LMK, we will be here all weekend. Weather is awesome!

Here are the Rolex GT Camaro's. I was in the first turn of the first infield horseshoe at the 1st RV next to the infield stand at the fence. Great spot to be in.

I'm already making plans on being there next year!!

Ticket prices appear to be very reasonable and the racing looks non-stop for this event.

@Beauwulf--I am using a Sony D-alpha 350 14megapixal SLR camera from that I purchased from Best Buy about 2 years ago. A Canon EOS Rebel and Nikon Camera of the same type can take the same type of pics. I did use a 75-300mm zoom lens.

Nice! Were you playin with "F stops" and exposures or was it on auto? And, one more, was the lens Sony as well?

In the beginning on bright sunny skies I used the "P" program where I set the ISO at 200 and the picture type under Vivid. The f stop was done automatically by the camera and when it got closer to night I just put it in sport mode since it uses a faster ISO speed automatically by the camera itself. Glad you like the pics I hope they are big enough to use as wallpaper. I took over 960 photos for those three days at the track.
