While we’re at it, anyone mounted the Andersen composite rear wing with wickerbill (the two piece kit)? How is the fit compared to OEM?

I checked on this today from my shops GM parts guy. As stated, they are no longer available. But he did give me a list of 6-7 dealers that do have them in stock. So they will need to be called to see what they'd sell them for.

Well, I sent my first bent one back today to Gandrud Chevy today. It is bent, but not creased, so I feel like it could be straightened out by someone with talent and time. Maybe if you called them, they would discount it because of the damage. Call Mel 920-468-3658.

I talked to Scoggin-Dickey and they show in their system that they have one, but they can't put their hands on it. So, it may or may not exist.

I called my local dealer and their system only showed 7 of these left in the country. Here is a list of dealers who show this part in inventory:

Clay Cooling Chevy 972-573-6480
Capital Chevy 512-476-0408
Quirk Chevy 781-917-1138
Autonation Tampa 800-888-2292
Family Chevy 956-727-1192

Part #23200130, list price is 395.00 and the supply is quickly drying up. If you want a OEM wickerbill you shouldn't wait. I ordered mine from Autonation and I only hope it comes in undamaged.

This has been an interesting two weeks trying to locate a wickerbill. I'm sure this isn't the only Z/28-specific part that has been discontinued.

We have been orphaned by Chevrolet...

I picked up a splitter and wickerbill just to have spares right after I bought the car. I'm wonder what else I should grab 'just in case'.

This will be like the mid 2000 0's when it comes to GTO parts. They dried up really fast. Never buy one of those that needs a lot of specific parts replaced.

Anyone have a .dxf file of the oem wickerbill? Would be fairly easy to reproduce.

Thanks for the heads up on the part. I just bought the Z28. I called autonation this morning and bought the wicker bill. I know some have said they bought a spare. Is this necessary for this part? I can see having an extra front splitter because of its ability to crack. But I think the wicker bill is made of aluminum so not sure why to have a spare. I haven’t seen it yet so maybe it is fragile and can bend or break. Should I get another?

No reason for a spare wicker.

I agree! Have a new spare in the box GM front splitter but no need for the wicker even though I do have one on the car.

What’s the # on the splitter?
Think I’ll pick one up while available.

Btw, aren’t manufacturers required to make parts for a model year for a certain # of years?
