Talking Contest III - Guess The Ride

Alright, I've got you on this one...

Guess the ride!

Be sure to refresh your browser when you return so that you see the most current reveal!

Contest Rules
  • One post per day per Camaro5.com member. A day is defined by the clock in my kitchen, which is on Eastern time.
  • Each guess MUST contain the Year, Make and Model of an actual production vehicle. (Example: Speed Racer's Mach V is not an actual vehicle)
  • Close doesn't count, you must guess all three correctly
  • Any prize will be shipped only to winners who reside in the 48 contiguous States, Hawaii and Alaska
  • Each incorrect guess will reveal one additional square
  • Only non-vendor members are eligible
  • Year, Make and Model defined as: YEAR; The year of the vehicle, not the year it was released. MAKE; The manufacturer of the vehicle, MODEL; The full model (IROC Z28 is not the same as Z28)
  • NEW RULE - BONUS - At times throughout the game I will add a possible bonus to the game. The bonuses can be of a public nature (shown to everyone in the game) or a private bonus (sent in the form of a PM) Look for the new bonus questions/riddles/trivia/etc. in this first post.

The divided box below contains an image of a vehicle. It might be a car, truck, SUV, minivan, golf cart, motorized cooler, who knows. All you have to do to win is guess the correct year, make and model of the vehicle. Each time a wrong answer is given, another square will be revealed. One post per day per person.

Bonus:
Bonus #1 - I have owned a few cars in my day, and some of them were Camaros. When you make your guess, you may also take a guess of the year and color of my first Camaro. "Color" refers to the general color, for example, you don't have to specify the color name like "Inferno Orange", just orange will be fine. If you guess the year and color both correctly I will give you the option of either: a) a private clue or b) I will remove all boxes that do not cover a part of the car (trees, road, etc). If ANYONE guesses either the year or color correctly before someone guesses both, then that bonus is gone. However, I will give that person the option of either a) a public clue or b) remove ten boxes that are not covering any part of the car. Once that bonus is gone, I will give the person who guesses the other fact (year or color, whichever is left) a) a public clue or b) remove the ten boxes. BONUS #1 is OVER

Bonus #2 - As was correctly guessed, I once owned a 1967 Yellow Camaro RS. After I got out of high school, I had a different Camaro. What was the year and color? HINT: The year and color have already been mentioned, possibly in the same answer! BONUS #2 is OVER

Bonus #3 - LIGHTNING ROUND - I am leaving for lunch in about 1/2 an hour. If someone answers the following question correctly before I leave I will remove 15 boxes for each correct! You can only guess once, but you can guess both questions BONUS #3 is OVER

Below are a few of the cars I have owned. I now regret ever getting rid of any of them. Which one do I regret the most?

A) 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible
B) 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS
C) 1970 Chevelle SS
D) 1970 Plymouth Satellite Convertible
E) 1972 Chevrolet Nova

Which of these crappy cars that I owned did it take two weeks for me to GIVE AWAY for free:

A) 1977 Olds Cutlass S
B) 1981 Chevy Chevette
C) 1976 Chrysler Cordoba
D) 1989 Dodge Colt

Bonus #4 - REVEAL - I am removing all squares that do not directly cover the vehicle at 8:30am

Public Clues:
PUBLIC CLUE - This car was assembled in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada

You made it in under the wire! Does anybody know how long you have to edit your post before it adds that "last edited" tag at the bottom? It's like the Jeopardy theme song of this game.

They say it's the same answer as the "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop" question... The world may never know.

edit... test test is this thing on?
