I have been a "stripe-hater" in the past for most cars because I thought it was a little "much" but these newer cars like the 5th gen and the challenger are so 'big' that the stripes or hockey sticks actually make them look less chunky IMO. I agree with the OP that some colors just look kind of un-finished without them. That's why I had to get them on my SIM.

We have the hockey stripes on our SIM. I like the look. Kinda getting tired of seeing racing stripes.

I think all require some type of graphics to complete the package.

They all look fine plain but I'm of the school of thought that all cars need stripes!

Those are el-cheapo Boss branded 20 inch wheels, I didn't keep them because they suck. They were around $650 for all from tire rack so there's your sign.

Agree with OP. Yellow, White, Silver and sometimes Red look terrible without stripes. Just my opinion though.

I originally asked the dealer to remove them as a condition of purchase....which they agreed but said they take some risks of having to repaint the panel if they screw it up...at that i said forget it, and im very happy I didnt do it. I cant imagine it without them now, and my father was horrified that i even asked.

I think the right color car with the right combo stripe adds the POP, but everyone has their own opinion and own style. I personally love the stripes.
