How about 295/35 in the rear in addition to the bigger rear bar? Pilot Super Sports have this size and guys seem to rave about them.

I am running Forgeline's in a ZL1 configuration, 20x10 up front with 285/35-20 and rear with 20x11 with 295/35-20(Ferrari spec tires, xl 105) in the Michelin Pilot Super Sports...I have had good luck with this set up....also running the ZL1 Pedders sways front/rear...handles well in my opinion. I know, not what you recommend Pete, but can't afford another set of Forgeline's....

Absolutely you'll want torun our 32mm bar with or without the 295s. The Pilot Super Sports certainly have a number of fans. Just remember not all tires are created equal. So Cal Camaro has done his homework and found the Ferrari version of the Super Sport.

I hear that. Are you running the front bar on full soft?

MICHELIN® PILOT® SPORT A/S 3 thinking about these as my new street tires. Only getting 10-12 thousand miles out of the goodyears is simply not affordable for me as this car is my daily driver.

So I am thinking I will use these A/S 3s for now and save for a track set of goodyears for some hoped for track days next summer.

MICHELIN® PILOT® SPORT A/S 3

Just ordered a set from Costco, if you have a membership Michelins are 70.00 off for a set of four.....through tomorrow. I will get them mounted at the dealer rather than Costco.

They are indeed the W, but since I don't have any plans to exceed 168 mph I think they will be fine

Spare tire

I know this is a little off the current dialogue, but I have a question.

I want to buy a cheap spare tire for my 1LE. Don't want to buy a whole new black 1Le wheel for 1000 dollars.

What can I get that will fit in the current trunk wheel well. Also heard something about an offset plate.
Can I use the stamped wheel from the 1Lt or similar and will it fit in the trunk well.

cant stand taking a long trip with only that tire repair inflator

I use a stock SS front wheel, 20x8 with a tire that is 28.1 outside diameter, will have to look to see what it is, because you need a spare that is same size as rear tire to not hurt the rear end...I don't know if the 1lt or spare that comes with Non SS/RS cars will work.
