My Camaro has been in service for the third time for the same issue

GM finally sent out a field engineer on Tuesday of this week, but they still dont know whats wrong. I hope they fix soon because i really hate driving this base model cobalt :(

Keep track of total days out of service as it may fall under the "Lemon Law"

Is My Vehicle a Lemon?

In order to be covered by the Illinois Lemon Law, a vehicle must:
  • have a nonconformity that both substantially impairs the use , market value or safety of the vehicle and is not repairable by the dealer or manufacturer in at least four attempts for the same repair, or
  • be out of service for a total of 30 or more business days.
The Lemon Law DOES Cover: New Cars (purchased or leased)
Light Trucks and vans under 8,000 pounds
Recreational vehicles (excluding trailers)
Vehicles in their first 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first
Vehicles purchased in Illinois

Sounds like you're close!

when u accelerate past 4.5k rpm the car seems to slip gear like its reaching the rev limiter and then kicks back in and does it again an continues until u reach the actual rev limit and it shifts.

they seem to believe that that is not the issue, they replaced the fuel line assembly this week and it did nothing and the problem still occurs
