They may have taken time off for the holidays, it is still only Monday the 3rd. I'd give them some time to get back to work and get caught up on things.

Hey guys finally back to work. Just wanted to put up some general info. We are making the new kits one of our main priorities at the shop, both the stock-knob kit and the DTS style kit. I cant give out when they will be done since honestly, Im not sure. The same goes for pricing. I know a lot of you guys have been keeping tabs on these kits for a long time, and I am finally somewhere with the resources and backing to make this happen. I just dont want to say that they will be out in a month and cost 400 bucks and have everybody be bummed if I cant make that happen. We are doing a complete re-design of the kit, both will be fully plug and play, just like the Metra kit. There wont be any more splicing, running tons of cables, or making your own mounts. I will keep you guys updated when I have info that you might be interested in, and if you do have a more detailed question about the kits, feel free to PM me, and Ill try to get back to you as soon as I can. And just as a courtesy, please dont PM me or ask about pricing or release date. Thanks.

That DTS kit looks good, I think I am torn between this and the scosche, depending on price.

Just as an FYI for you guys, the kit that RBD is selling was the first prototype for the Gen 2 kit. The new kit will be completely redone, no mounting boxes, not splicing wires, it will be a completely plug and play kit.

yes the factory menu will be accessible through the new kit, either directly through it or with a small unit that can stow away somewhere, but we arent sure yet.
