margin of error?

Do you think I'll be OK with the following setup?
235/55/R18 winter tires have a diameter of 28.2 inches.
The OEM 245/40/R20 have a diameter of 27.7

The winter tires are .5 inches or 1.8% bigger. I guess the only way to know for sure is to put them on, drive around, and hope I can tell if they're rubbing...but before that, what do you think.

You should be fine with .5" difference in height as that is only 1/4" radius. It has a taller sidewall so probably won't have as wide of a tread since the 235 is measured from the widest part of the tire. That's just my thoughts.
