I agree. Much better but what an ass to install. Worth it though!

I also used the red wire that was in the video cable to bring the 12v+ to the HU area so I could power the cameras from this area.
Just a thought....... Maybe the blue wire might work? I'll test it tonight.

I installed a USB male to mini 5 pin male cable last night and this plugs directly into the back of the factory fitting that's in the console. It works great so that's sorted.

So far all seems to be working as it should except the heated seats and rear defrost buttons. Scosche have sent me instructions on a method to get these to work. They think it's a comms error and a reset might work. I'll let ya all know.
How long does this cable need to be? Would 3 feet be enough?

I doubt 3’ would be long enough. I got a 6’ long one and while it was too long i’m thinking 4 1/2’ might be about right.

Sorry for threadjack lol

Can someone tell me the exact procedure on the programming for auto lock bs

This pos has locked me out twice now with engine running, lol

I turned off the auto feature but for some reason it locks?

Btw the Camaro doesn’t have any key slots for opening the car at all not even the trunk.
About the worst idea ever.
Even the new vettes have a key in rear.
Anyway that’s my rant
Otherwise very cool dash kit, just the operator error on my part I guess

Thanks

House is 99% complete. Few things I will go back to in the winter, after it cools down.

Audio system is +, with exception of the SWC. I will get them back once I buy my new HU and get rid of the loaner.

I’ve just checked in here after a long time away. Did you get this sorted? Most of my SWC features work fine.
