Another exaust question

Have an axle back flow master 40 series. Looking at replacing the factory exuast with slp cat back and slp loud mouth 2 mufflers. Just wondering if the new cat back system will give me any gains. Still have stock metal pipes from the cat back.

Here is how I see it

Cat Backs decrease weight and increase sound / tone and add probable droan at certain rpm's with very minimal to no power increase.

You will not see any improvement in power from exhaust changes after the cats on these cars. Despite being heavy and sounding like crap the stock cat back flows pretty well. It is all about sound improvement and weight reductions. If you want to pick up some power you will need to look from the cats forward.

Not any power gain, but a much better tone than just having axle backs with factory exaust pipes. Looking for a deeper and louder tone. Not real happy with the flow master axle backs. Thanks guys.
