Things that could be improved....

First I want to say me and the wife had a wonderful time. Had fun, met old friends, made new friends, and thoroughly enjoyed the events. I know nothing is going to be smooth and things happen. That is expected at large events, and you go with it...and we did.

One issue was parking on Sat. I told them I was in the car show and would be racing. I get the "great we are parking you over here so you can get in and out easily". Then proceeded to block of all the ways to get the car out. Test and Tune on Sat was scheduled for 9-12, but it was only 9-10 as they started qualifying for brackets at 10a. Disappointed because by the time I got parked and walked over to see if the track was truly prepped and finding a way to get my car out (driving through grass between some parked trucks), I missed it. Unfortunately this was the day my wife was going to be driving the car and she did not get a chance. She was bummed she paid to be a driver and ended up being a spectator. I guess communication should be improved upon for the next fest (at least a little more focus for those doing multiple events on the last day)

If that is my only grip, I'm good. Had a party with everyone in the evening, saw some spectacular Camaros (judging had to be the most difficult), and more importantly, made new friends that I hope to see at future Camaro events.

This was my 3rd 'fest, all of them have been a little confusing but we always make the best of it.
My complaint/concern is with the price of admission for spectators. $20 is a little much to come in just to look around at the cars and the drags/autocross. I know of several cars that turned around and left on Saturday when they found out how much admission was. Maybe Beech Bend set the price for this? I don't know but I do know you can go to a lot of quality car shows and get in for free or maybe have to pay to park.
Some of the people that turned away were families with teenage kids, I understand why they wouldn't want to pay $80+ for admission.

I'm sure the price is what was needed for Beech Bend to open. It was for 2 days so that was $10 a day. Overall, great first time experience for me. For a volunteer group to organize this, pretty awesome...
