He isnt a troll. Look over most of his posts. He is actually one of the smarter/more educated people on this site regardless of what he drives. |

Not the best video but here is a 13.4 run in the 2010 Mustang.

The N54 was under rated because SAE standards weren't in effect when it initially came out. Those cars put down 280+whp stock. Pretty impressive, except for the abnormally high failure rates of the HPFPs. One of the reasons I went with a G37S Coupe over the 335i back in 07...plus it was 13k cheaper lol

The point is that most of us would be even more happy if GM put the LS3 in the car rather than a truck engine. The only and I mean ONLY good thing about the L99 is that if you cam it you can run a VVT grind and make more average power than a comparable LS3 grind. The kicker is though that it will cost you about a grand more to do so since the heads have to come off. Trust me, if you cam your L99 like I did you might be thinking the same thing when you get the bill. If one of your POS AFM lifters fail I can guarantee you will be upset with GM for not putting a LS3 in the car. Not only that but who here doesn't want a extra 26HP from the start?

My dad as a 2009 Challenger SRT (manual) and I have a 2011 Camaro SS (automatic). We both got on it, but didn't do anything crazy. We were pretty much neck and neck. My nose might have been about a foot further than his and we were both bone stock at the time. I know he was done 125 in 4th and 145 in 5th with 1 gear to go.

I agree 100% that stock 3v mustangs are kinda a joke, but like anything can be made to run decent. On 9.2 lbs of boost with 3200 stall and 4.10's in the ass end I run mid to lower 11's. I know and fully aware that threre is cars out there with less mods and faster than mine. I just didnt like to keep mine stock.. I run Livernois Stage 2 heads, Comp Cams 127350 Stage 2 blower cams at the track I run a 305/35/18 MT Drag Radial 2 tire.. Now unless I break something, I just plan on putting my efforts into the SS instead now.
