2010 Camaro 2LT Auto VS 2005 Altima SE R Manual Who would win?
A friend of mine wants me to take my V6 camaro to test and tune this weekend. Any predictions on the outcome?

Depends on driver, performance is similar.

So confident.... its usually why our Altima's gob smack a lot of unsuspecting people.
1. What are the mods on the SE-R? 2. Can the guy actually drive the SE-R (most important question) Stock SE-R if driven properly will hit 14.2 no problem. But I have seen ranges up to 14.8 for the crappy drivers. With simple bolt on's easy high 13's. It has 260HP and 250 ft/lbs and weighs around 3300 pounds. Should be an interesting race. No camaro autos are not tht much slower if any at all the thing I noticed when I raced the altimas is that there top end speed wasn't very good at least the ones I raced idk how true this is but I'm going off experience

You are correct, the Altima's top end seems to lack, at least for the automatics. Usually decent up to 105-110MPH. Also depends on mods.

I absolutely slaughtered that car when I had long tubes, airaid intake and tune a few weeks ago. I don't know exactly (if any) your mods are but I pulled roughly three car lengths on an altima in roughly a quarter mile stretch of road. I'd imagine you would win fairly comfortably as well.
Once the turbo install is done they may have a hard time reading the sticker in my back windsheild. |

He has manual trans no mods. He knows how to drive it so driver performance won't b a issue from his end.

Well since he is stock you stand a better chance. Just out of curiousity what are V6 Camaros doing in the quarter mile and what are they trapping (stock). I know I can look it up but I am skeptical at looking at magazine times because most people tend to do better or worse job than what they get depending on situation.

Gotta remember, most of the guys with V6s that wanted to track them just didn't leave the stock very long. My guess is if Scrming, Rod1, Catman, etc... had run a few more times while stock they would have been in the low 14s. These cars seem to start shining at around 3000 miles.
