SCT TUNER ??
I have an SCT tuner that I got from JRE with a custom tune for my L99 auto. I have returned the tune to stock and sold the car. I want to know if this custom tune will load up to any L99 Camaro or is it tied to my specific VIN?? My car only had a Cold Air Inductions intake and Corsa catback exhaust, so basically stock. Just bought this to kill the AFM. Thanks, in advance for your replies.

If you swapped your OEM tune back into the car and the JRE tune is back on the tuner, it should be "unmarried". It should work with any L99. If you plan to sell it, be VERY specific as to what your mods were and what Ted told you was in the tune.

I have a feeling that if you sold it to someone, they would have to download the stock tune from their car. Then email that to Ted with the vin and all the info. Then he would send back a custom tune for that car. I can't say for sure, but I don't think it will just download the tune for your old car into someone else's car.

The custom tune is tied to the vin number.
