Nope they did not say anything else. So I do not know what to tell everyone. And I pray that I never get low octane gas in it again since it will probably screw it up again.

The only strange thing I can say is the my oil life indicator was back at 100% after I got my car back. It was at 70% when I took it in, so I wonder if they pulled fuses to clear out the ECM or what?

So, we may have to fix the car ourselves. That's what my money is paying for.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

I am glad I ordered 6 Man would have wanted auto but don't like cylinders cutting out reminds me of regular V8 when it looses cylinders which is a fact
and don't sound very good when they cut out and feel like its dragging an anchor when it does
When mine arrives hopefully next week the first thing waiting is the skip shift
eliminator
not t mention saving $1200
see my other post on this thread LS3 with auto
you pay for the power from idle to redline at any speed
Hopefully I didn't offend anyone

easy... CAFE. and they could not get under the gas guzzler tax without the 8-4 deactivation. The LS3 does not have that capability. I was told by a dealer that the L99 is a dog. No match for the LS3. GM needed that to get the SS under the guzzler tax. I guess the LS3 just slides in on its coat tails.

I just retired about a year ago from being a marine mechanic being a certified Mercury marine tech we were sent programs called flashes to reprogram the ECUs
we hooked the diagnosis computer and made changes to the ecu
any upgrades or improvements were available to us to correct problems
Maybe if they recognize they have a problems it will be corrected at the dealer

The ss man 6 gets under the tax by using the skip shift[ 1 to 4]
Have been for several years on 6 speeds can be overcome by an 18 dollar resistor that takes 2 minutes to plug in at the solinoid that controls shifting
on the drivers side of the trans put one on my cousins 01 SS
I payed for six I want six don't plug in to the reverse gear locout sol.
it makes the computer think it is activated when it's not
