All factory brake calipers are painted as far as I know.

Guess I will have to do the powder coat route.
I had an '01 WS6 and I pulled the cali's off and had them powder coated red. Also put WS6 stickers on them. All of it lasted 16 years! No maint/touch-ups. Just regular wheel cleaner on a regular basis.

Definitely wouldn't go the paint route...

My thinking was to keep the items as "original" as possible but the pics you guys posted changed my mind. Those calipers look awesome. Will use your guy!...

Thanks
Brembo would not appreciate their calipers being powder coated.

Yes they are. Brembo has a patented multi step process they have spent years perfecting. They do not support after market powder coating or painting.

I would recommend Black Label Coatings highly @ https://www.blacklabelcoatings.com. Powder is the way to go if you use a quality service. He did the calipers on my GS arctic white. My car is actually featured on his home page. First class service. Make sure that any coater you use applies clear coat over them in the process. They've remained perfect since install and I drive the car daily. He used powder from Prismatic Powders. They have an incredible range of colors and finishes- https://www.prismaticpowders.com/.

That's exactly what I'd be looking to do on my ZL1, white calipers. Love how it looks on your GS!

Thanks very much. When I put them on, all I heard was "how are you going to keep them clean yada yada"- typical corvette waxer wankery. The secret is having the clear powder top coat. I suspect the white might stain eventually if we didn't clear over the base. They are a breeze to clean BTW. I was going to ceramic coat them too, but really don't need it and am going to wait until I re-coat the car when I get the time. I encourage you to contact black label. He is super professional and a really nice guy who cares greatly about what he does. He is a ZL1 freak, btw. I also had him do the lines and bolts in matte black for contrast. The decals are cleared over as well and look factory.
