Difference in years?
Im getting ready to pull the trigger on a ss 1le. What are the differences between the 2017 and 2018? I went by the dealership and the salesmen had no idea and seemed like it was too much trouble to ask someone else.
Any advice would be much appreciated. |

Early '17 all had the PDR, then it became optional, and in '18 it seemed like PDR was kind of rare, most I saw didn't have the option.
No significant changes, the '17 has the "Fifty" steering wheel badging. Krypton green got dropped for '18 and part way through production Arctic blue was discontinued. Right before Arctic ended the 2SS 1LE began production so if you want a unicorn, try and find one of them. Others will chime in with better info.

I bet the 1LE will be worth some extra $ fifty plus years down the road. Who knows,,,, The 6th Gen 1LE could be the next 69 DZ 302. Why? You're getting a ZL1.. Only short of a 7K super charger at close to 30k less money. |

Biggest change for 2018 is you can get a 2SS 1LE.
Since you're in Austin, come out to COTA July 13 from 3-11pm, you'll see at least one 1LE in action |

Oh and the ZL1 has 2SS interior. So you should be comparing the ZL1 to a 2SS 1LE
Edit. And if this is a daily driver the 1SS 1LE stereo is terrible. I bought mine as a toy and dont care. But you might. |

Agreed. The factory Rockford Fosgate system in my 2010 Xterra is worlds better than the 1LE.. but I bought the 1LE to listen to the exhaust, not the stereo
