I traded in my 06 Silverado 1500CCSB VMax, 6.0L towards my 2010 Camaro. My truck had 54k on the clock I was given 17k for it in mint condition with some add-on goodies, I checked Ebay I did not see anything close to 17k most 06 trucks were going for $14k.

Sometimes I just don't get this forum. That truck's a hit, but a dovetail spoiler meets with a loud chorus of "Rice! Crap!"

That truck is sweet! I'm not a big truck fan but I would buy that. It's clean, simple and just nicely done. You should buy it from him so he doesn't have to trade it. Or put a for sale sign in it and get more money in his pocket.

Well, just got off the phone with Dad, and he's picking up his new Camaro LS tomorrow afternoon.
And no, the truck is not getting traded in. We're just going to store it for the winter, then sell it in the spring. I bought the truck new and lowered it, then sold it to Dad with 13,000 miles, bought it back from him at 90,000 miles, repainted the truck, put new wheels on it, and drove it a year, then let my son drive it when he got his license. Cops were constantly on him, so I sold it back to Dad 3 years ago. So it's probably time to cast it off to someone else, instead of us selling it back and forth to each other.

So anyway, another Camaro hits the streets tomorrow!!!

Anyway, glad your dad is getting the LS, and it's awesome the truck isn't going in on it!! Hopefully you'll get a good price for it this spring, it's a very sharp truck!
