Keep us updated if you hear back from him. I might be interested in doing this mod also.

If you can not get a hold of Rick, you might want to reach out to Ryan (Rhino79) from GPI. He does pretty much the same mod to the LS3 IM.

http://shop.gwatneyperformance.com/ls3intakemod.aspx

I got my modded IM through GPI.

Ryan from GPI does them. I had mine done before I switched to FI. Sold it to a local Camaro member. Livened the car up...

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Ill try and contact Ryan. I see some with the center pillars removed, and some with them still in place. Im really thinking about just doing my own. How big do you estimate the rod size is? 1/2, 5/8?

ls-4-speed@nc.rr.com That's off his facebook page Rick Crawford Racing. Far as I know he does all of his own work.

He does porting for Rick Crawford.
I doubt this is accurate. I have been to Rick's house and got to see first hand what he does. I don't see him subbing any porting work out, he takes too much pride in what he does to let someone else do it.

He has got everything in his shop. Unless he has changed his ways which I doubt, he does it all himself.

Rick Crawford Ported Manifold

Had mine since 2012, tumbles air for better low speed velocity and high speed flow.
GPI pic is not the same thing BTW.
Mine's a 6.0 flex fuel motor with AFM, and when it was stock plus OTR, 1.85 ratio rockers, RCR intake & TB, shorty Tri-y's and catback was the first "unopened" 6.0 to pull over 300rwkw (400rwhp).
Now with VVT cam, built motor the intake still hoots (literally) at 480rwhp. Nobody has mentioned better fuel economy yet but goes to efficiency.

Seem like "half round" tubing would make a better transiifion into the intake port than a completely round tube.
