need help and advice please....

so i brought my car to my dealer ship today to have them look at the trunk where the paint is coming off under the spoiler...i gave them the tsb and al.. they said that shouldnt be a problem and it will be covered.. i also have a problem with my front bumber on the nose and where the bumper meets the fender on the corners. the paint is rubbing off on the nose and 2 other spots. i showed to dealers and they tell me its not a factory issue, one dealer said its from a car bra(i dont have a car bra) the other one said its from buffing, now thats a load of trash. i dont own a buffer and i do it \by hand. its not my fault the paint is coming off. it shouldnt be coming off at all...i had the car for 2 years and only 8000 miles on it. i i dont park it anywhere in public places. it almost stays at home all the time unless i wanna go for a ride...so my question is. what do i do? i was thinking of calling gm and putting in a complaint. but where do i get the number from?? any info would be great! thanks

jeff

Yea I wasn't but HB gave me shit, said nothing was wrong. I know that was bs because I took it to the family mechanic and he said it was out of balance so I KNEW I needed a new pulley. Anyway, East Hills of Douglaston has a very good service dept, but the one in Roslyn is bs.

Jeff,

There's been a few posts about the bumper paint issue. I found one, there should be more.

Talk to the service manager. Move up the chain of power. When that fails then call customer service. Ask fro a rep to come look at it. Take pictures now and if it gets bigger. Write all communications down with a date and who you spoke to. Usually when they see that you are detailed they know not to try and mess with you.
