Motor Trend: 2016 Camaro 2SS vs. Mustang GT Incoming

We know Motor Trend has a few cars, we know they have their review coming on Oct 16th. We also know the Camaro is in the running with their COTY.

But it looks as if they are also doing a Mustang vs. piece as well.

The Mustang is a good looking car, but the Camaro looks positively menacing next to it.

Like we don't all know the outcome already. Mustang loses across the board in all performance metrics. Unless you're just looking to read the article to see them gush over the new Camaro, I have a feeling it's going to be a boring read.

If its auto vs auto the camaro will win. If its stick vs stick it could go either way. Even so I can't wait to read it and watch the "other" guys respond....

No need.the "other guys" have already excepted the fact that their precious horse lost to the camaro so they try to compare it with the GT350.if I read this article it will be for the pics mostly. LOL

How do you figure? Even manual vs manual the SS is about .5 sec quicker then the GT in the 1/4 mile. That is a lot...not to mention the TR6060 is worlds better then the MT82.

The hood scoops are starting to grow on me a little bit. SS looks good in Yellow.

Agree about the Menacing look but the Yellow it's self looks much deeper on the Mustang (if that is a good picture and is showing well on my screen) and I do like the black roof on that car, not sure I would on the Camaro.

Also the guys shirt, I did not know they Made VW GTI dress shirts lol

I'm definitely looking forward to this match-up. It's pretty obvious that the Camaro will outperform the Mustang if GM's numbers are true. I wish we didn't have to wait until Oct. 16th though! Lame embargos.

Meh, I personally like the yellow of the Camaro better just based on this picture. Looks a little brighter and more sporty to me.

The mustang definitely has an awesome hue of yellow though with that black roof. I'm trying to picture the Camaro with a black roof now...
