Dyno confirmed for 6/3 - Results are in on the Huron Setup

Getting ready to hit the dyno again (4th time with turbo setup)... made some modifications over the winter:

removed wastegate dump from downpipe to atmosphere
removed airfilter in lieu of a screen
added twin cutouts on my 2.5" dual exhaust just after where the single 3" DP splits
Aluminum DS
Street Slayer Twin Disc

Here is a rundown of the car from previous runs:

2010 Camaro SS M6
Stock bottom end
AI 280cc Heads
Vengeance racing turbo cam (235/231 .6xx/.6xx 115lsa)
Ported LS3 Intake
NW102 TB
1000CC Injectors/ZL1 pump/ADM FPCM
Huron Speed single turbo kit with Precision 7675CEA
Alky Control w/100% meth
SLP under drive pulley
No cats
borla ATAK 2.5" exhaust
Tune via hptuners (me tuning)

going to be dialing in for 3 settings:

Wastegate - 8psi
Setting A - 16psi
Setting B - 12psi

Numbers will be on a dynojet and running 93 + 100% meth

I previously made 762rwtq @ 16psi, then boost fell to 703rwhp @ 13psi. Boost on that run was 16psi @4500, 13psi@5400rpm, 11psi@6000rpm. Hopefully my mods over the winter eliminates the boost fall off issue so I can make a clean run @16psi.

You and I both have stock bottom ends so we are pushing the envelope. Here is hoping you will see 800 HP

With all those exhaust flow improvements, that should make a major difference. That's an 1000+whp turbo when everything else not choking it off.

What did you do with the wastegate dump?

Should make 800 if you got the octane w/enough meth. I think the 3" downpipe is maxed much more than that

I hope so. I think the cubes are too big verse the 3" DP. I think @ 20-22psi, this turbo would be done... probably in 875-900rwhp range.

Based off of previous logs ands use of meth injection, I don't think it will max out until around 850rwhp. I also have 1000cc injectors.

Previously I didn't log inj duty cycle on the dyno, but my street pulls after the dyno on 12psi showed under 60% duty cycle (if I recall correctly I want to say it was actually like 48% duty cycle). Big injectors and meth injection (supplemental fuel delivery) will allow that pump to go far beyond the normal limits.

Most people on here max these out around 700rwhp on gasoline only and 850cc injectors.

Wastegate is flipped 180 degrees and faces front. I made a 90 degree pipe (like 36" long) to run it straight down to the ground.

Based on my datalogs of 2nd gear pulls on the street, I am seeing an 11% increase in airflow @4500rpm and 8psi with just the screen and wastegate dumped to atmosphere. I suspect I'll see 20% with the cutouts open. Signs are promising...

That's a solid gain. If your turbo the ballbearing that will help too. Less drive force needed will mean more air goes out your now free flowing exhaust and less has to go into the 3" down pipe.

I agree, but if I spend the money on another turbo, it will be a bigger one and I will fab my own turbo kit for it.

Decent day today. Had lots of issues, one being clutch slippage in the mid range, some break up in the high rpms, my cutouts stuck open, and I couldn't run under 13psi.

In the end, I made 817rwhp/758rwtq @16psi. I feel like it would have hit 850rwhp with no changes if it wasn't breaking up in the higher rpms.

So, even with the issues, I made 114rwhp more with the changes I made.

No knock... maybe spark issue, valvetrain issues? I dunno.

Duty cycle at 64%
