New ZL1 Picked Up Yesterday and Already Modded
Hello Camaro6 Forum!
I'm the happy owner of a new 2018 ZL1 in Mosaic Black and I've already added my first mod: Hand Controls! "The Nest" I was formally a professional skier, but became a T12 paraplegic in 2005 while racing in a fundraiser for spinal cord injury patients. (I know....the irony.) I've recently sold my 680whp Evo X (the 4th highest HP Evo X MR in the world at one point!) and am currently building a 1990 JDM Nissan Silvia--which will soon have an LT4. I know absolutely NOTHING about Camaros, but I look forward to learning a lot here, and I promise to use the "SEARCH" button before asking any questions. |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Congrats on your purchase! I recently purchased a 2017 ZL1 that interestingly enough was originally converted to hand controls as it was owned by a disabled Vet. There’s two very minor indentations on the steering wheel from having something clamped on to it and 4 holes in the floor in front of the gas pedal where I’m guessing the attachment point was for the hand throttle to push on the gas pedal.
