Has anyone had any luck finding all-season tires to fit the stock RS wheels?

Pirelli obviously has the PZero Max Summer and the Scorpion winter but the only all-season tires I could find that would match the specs of the stock tires are these: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...=60050&tab=All

The only drawback I see to these tires is that the front ones don't have the XL load range like the back and the stock front & rear Pirelli's.

Any information on this tire or others that would fit would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I want to use the stock wheels for my winter set for driving when it's not too bad out but the temps are too low for summer tires.

I don't know why the stock tires have such a high load rating spec'd from GM. I know the Camaro is a little over weight but it's not an SUV after all. I'm no tire expert but the lower ratings should be just fine by my thinking.

I'm just a little concerned how cornering will feel with the rears being XL and the fronts not. Anyone ever done that with tires before?

I'm starting to think the best option is to replace the front wheels with the same width of the rear and put the same tires on all four corners. Didn't really want to invest in more wheels though.

the conti dws works extremely well as a high performance all season, i'm running them on a s-class benz and have been very impressed in heavy rain, quiet and wearing very well. supposed to do well in snow but i try to avoid going were its cold.

I have the Conti DWS on my Acura and I driven in snow and little ice (packed snow)(dc metro area bleh!) and they handle pretty good, (not driving very fast in the crud) I am seriously thinking about putting these on my 'maro .... they are good

Toyo Proxes come in the right sizes and less expensive. They are a little louder than P-zeros but handle well. The sound won't matter much after I take the cans off

Yokohama Prada Spec X's come in oem Camaro sizes and are a great all season tire at a good price. When I was looking at tires, the Spec X's were car tires not suv tires and even some of the tire places I checked told me they are classified as car tires and may wear quicker on a heavy suv.....But, I just looked at tire rack and they are now a suv tire. Either way, alot of the TBSS guys love them.

Thanks guys for those other options. Yes, Cyn, I'm not too worried about the sound either. I doubt I'll notice the difference with the cat-back exhaust I put on.

I'm also looking at the Prada Spec-X tires for some 'all seasons.' I live in Tx so I dont need 'winter' tires and probably wouldnt use them even if I move back to CO.

I DO need something that doesnt loose air, get flat spots and generally not work on slush etc though. It seems like those would work good for that.

The only issue I can see is that they are very hard tires and that might mean its easier to lose the rear end and would definitely be considerably less grip in dry conditions vs the P-Zeros.

I'm using the Yoko Parda for winter, have about 800 miles on them since Dec. No problems. Yea they spin a little easier on dry pavement but when april gets here the pirelli go back on.

just put the extreme contact dws's on my camaro. i highly recomend them.i got 275-40-20's for the rear and 245-45-20's on the front. we've been putting them to the test here in pittsburgh. almost 40 inches of snow in the last week and a half and it's been doing really well with the continentals on it.

the yoko spec x is an awesome tire, on a truck or suv. read the reviews some other members have posted on other threads, they're not very good on a camaro. the conti dws's are designed for cars, they work great. the toyo's wont be anywere as good as the conti's in wet weather or snow. tire rack has reviews on all these tires.
