I agree. It would be cheaper to buy a Alu. driveshaft now then after it breaks and beats up under your car. Seen people break driveshafts and crack transmission cases and destroy tin work.

Not sure on the axles, but I was reading that the aftermarket 3.5 Alu. driveshaft is good up to 750 rwhp.

The 3.5" shaft is rated for 3500lbs of torque, some have has bolt issues and its not a bad thing to think about changing

Good point. I'd certainly put it elsewhere, but I never drag my car.

Let me chime in here....

I have the DSS Alum DS and 1000 HP Axles and I love them. I had an issue last year with my axles and DSS totally took care of me, great customer service. The Alum DS is also lighter so you will lose some weight which always helps.

Now, I used to get into drag racing and have friends that still do. They ran the stock parts and constantly broke things because of aggressive launches. Bolts broke, the rubber thingy snapped in the DS, same thing in the alxes. I upgraded and never had a problem. It gave me the confidence to get better 60ft times because I could get more aggressive.

I have since switched over to the road course and the lighter weight really helps get me around the course. The peace of mind is worth every penny.

Your HP and TQ is only good if you can get it to the ground reliably. DSS gives you that.

JDP offers you the great prices, CS and tech support a great vendor should.

Upgrade now and you will not have to worry how high you go with your HP and TQ. Some of the best insurance I invested in.

T.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

Lol, I would have used Gforce parts even if I lived somewhere else. Their parts, quality and customer service are proven. The fact that I get to personally see the parts being made at each step is a nice benefit though! :-) have we met yet thahemp?

Not yet. For some reason my plans always fall apart lately... If I can get these kids out of the house and off to college already I can start focusing on myself again! Maybe blacktop nationals? I think I'm going to swing by that midwest camaro fest in KC too.

I should do that too. My wife has been begging me to enter a show instead of just walk the grounds.
