Just picked my Camaro up from JRE :) Cam porn inside!

So, Ive been romping around fully bolted on (ARH headers, straight pipes, vararam) and decided to take the cam plunge. While I was at it, I also had 3.91 gears swapped with the eaton trutrac posi along with the JRE reenforcing goodies of the stock pumpkin.

The cam is his 480 cam, all the work done by Ted and dyno tuned.

Its freakin' AWESOME! Since I got the gears along with it, the drive feels stock from ~1700 RPM to ~3100RPM in all the higher gears.

Above that....

Havent had it on much other than the highway and traffic coming home but it really only bucks if you let it get down below 1500RPM, which I think should be expected with such a cam anyways.

So much fun...!

And, the mandatory video

There is a little bit of a learning curve to drive at low rpms. I have to say though that I recently got a ported throttle body and low-rpm drivability is much improved. I dare say not much different than stock since the TB upgrade.

Oh Wow, my wife caught me listening to that video and asked me what that was. I told her "That was Jake's car, From State Farm". She then told me it sounds hideous.

I thought it was hot!

That car sounds the part for sure

Camaro5 with a snotty cam at idle never gets old.

Got any pics of the motor?
