My 2010 SS is my first Camaro, but I have had many Firebirds and one GTO:
1998 Trans Am A4 1998 Trans Am M6 1999 Firehawk Formula A4 2005 GTO M6 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6 I plan on trading my SS for a ZL1 in a year or so. Also passively looking for a fourth gen SS M6 to work on and pass down to my son when he gets older. |

My 2014 2SS Yelo' 'Maro I bought in October.
 As a sophomore in high school I drove a 1969 SS/RS 350 4 speed coupe with the Pace Car paint scheme (NO power steering). I bought it one year old with 17,000 miles for $1950. I gotta find a picture. The best deal was when I gave the money to the parents of a buddy in the 'Nam who was ordering a 1969 DZ302 Z28. He bought (with my cash) the factory headers and crossram intake with twin Holley carbs. They came in the trunk and he told the dealer NOT to install them. He also ordered it with the coveted rear disc brakes. I bought him a factory new 12 bolt 3.73 posi rear and we changed it out. The car was picked up at the dealer on trailer so the disc brake rear would have no miles or wear. The headers, crossram intake, and disc brake 12 bolt rear was sold (1981) to some guy building a super show car Z28. I got a nice 5 figure sum for the 3 rare parts, and in 1985 I put a nice down payment on a home. ,

Bring back Sunoco 260 to the local station. Some folks STILL drive L-88s and need the good gas.

I had a 1981 Z28 when I was 19. It was around 12 years old at the time. Amazing car! I was very intrigued, but did not fully appreciate all the power it had!
Now I have a 2015 ZL1. Sometimes it reminds me of that old beast. |

1981 Z28 4 spd. black w/black interior. No T-tops.
1998 Z28 auto. black w/tan interior. No T-tops. 2012 SS 6 spd. silver w/ black interior. No sunroof. Can you tell I like my roof solid.
