Add 100 octane race fuel or Torco to get 93 octane?

So I have two tunes from Ted at JRE...

91 and 93 Octane tune files.

I can either add one can of Torco per tank of gas to get to 93 octane or add 4 gallons of 100 octane race fuel at the pump.

Which one is a better way to go?

Just found out I have a shell station about 10-15 mins from house with 100 octane gas at the pump.

I've ran torco before but I've head that it can mess up the plugs and fuel system over time.

What' you guys thoughts?

Torco would be cheaper and way more convenient.

Torco caused me to replace my O2 sensors , plugs, and spent a month flushing my system. Car ran like absolute crap after Torco.

Just curious as to the HP difference between the two octanes???Like Torco, race fuel could mess with the plugs and fuel system over time as well...If I had to choose between the two cost and convenience would have to be factored in...

Torco is a race fue concentrate itself, so if it is messing with fuel systems, plugs, and sensors then so will the 100. The lead in race fuel is what usually kills sensors but torco is unleaded and I would think shell's 100 would be too.

100oct race fuel is typically unleaded, 110 is leaded ...

I ran two tanks if sunoco 100 unleaded at the track thurs... ran it all last year at the track, no issues

Make sure it isnt leaded fuel

When i track my car i try to eleminate KR as much as possible, i run 100oct on a 91oct tune, just for the added safety. Plus at the track, 91oct is 6.99/gal and 100oct is 8.99/gal ... sooo wtf lol

This stuff is good. I use it at the track every now and then. Autozone sells it. Raises 10 gallons of fuel 8 points.

I'm going to try some of this one day. The smell is good. Lol.
Something to keep in mind, the stoich value of race fuels can vary widely.

Lol why spend $8+ per gallon for 100 octane when you can spend $2 per gallon on E85...
