Before you lawyer up talk to your insurance company about what you think is wrong with the estimate. They may be able to help you get more money from state farm

I am glad you are ok. That estimate is a preliminary one, once the body shop gets a hold of it they can list everything needing repaired or replaced and get with the adjuster to get it fixed, just dont sign anything until it is repaired to YOUR satisfaction.

My worst Camaro nightmare, can't go wrong with a Shelby. My bro just bought a 2016 Shelby with trac pack, it's a badass for sure

1. Get a Personal Injury Attorney - he will make sure your car is repaired properly, at the repair shop of your choice, and will make sure you get any medical covered. Sure there is hidden medical issues you don't even know about. You can even use the attorney to fight to total the car since airbags went off and there is suspension damage.

2. Ask the PI Attorney about completing a Diminished Value Assessment and submit it to insurance. This is outside of the repair dollars for your car.

There is no money out of pocket for PI attorneys and they only get paid if there is a settlement. It really is a no brainer to get one especially in an accident of your magnitude.

There are a few 17's worth looking into. Even the '16 SS is the equivalent of the 13-15 1LE.

I know the new gen is a great performer but the look of it just does not do it for me...I'll have to see what the new 1LE looks like in person but so far....Nope. that's why I ordered my 15 after the release of the 16 model was revealed.

We'll see what I end up doing, I've been looking at gt350's but I'll be damned if I'm going to pay over MSRP. If I can find a low mile C6 ZO6 I might go for that or even a Z28.

Just read through your update....This sucks, Ive been through this and know how you feel. If your considering a Mustang not knowing what your budget is, have you seen this:

Good luck in your decision

Yeah man, those are a great price for what you get but I'm more auto x and open track days than a straight line type though. That's the reason the GT350 calls to me. Plus the look is better than a 6 gen camaro to me. I don't like the hard angles of the new corvette and camaro.

Thanks for the support!

If I remember correctly, gt350 production is limited, so pricing is only likely to go up.

I'd likely go Z28 over Z06. My first choice right now would be an SS (not the Camaro), especially if the rumours of the 17 are correct
