I think its a legit question on whether to scribble or sign long form

He agreed to terms well over a month ago putting the pen to paper is just a formality

As for Tua, I am definitely disappointed in no contract yet, but I do believe one will be signed “with his full name” before the season. But it’s not the end of the world if not. He’s still under contract this season. I believe the holdup is the guaranteed money.

With his injury history going all the way back to college guaranteeing a couple hundred million would be concerning for me if I was the owner/gm.

The whole QB contract thing is absurd anyway.

It should be like any other position if you preform well on your 4 year rookie deal you get paid.

Every WR does not deserve 30-35m nor does every QB deserve 50=55m

I think if Tua wanted 30-35m this thing would be done.

Tua’s only real injury history was is hip, and then the concussions 2 years ago. He’s missed less time than Burrow. He was first is passer rating in 2022, and first in yards last year. It’s been proven the dolphins can’t win without him. He deserves the market value. Which is 50-55mil for a top 5 (major qb stats) qb.

You have Goff making 53, tlaw 55, Herbert 52.5, Hurts 51, and Kyler midget Murray at 46. There should be no hesitation on guaranteed money. He was healthy all year last year and 2 fluke concussions the year before, which he still led the team to the playoffs.

Goff and Cousins went to the well twice for huge deals.

Watson and and Murray have missed significant time and if the talking heads want to talk overrated and attach a young QB's name to it Burrow fits well

Its going to be very hard to keep the other talent on the team after he gets 55m per year

Nah, salary cap getting a big boost. Waddle is paid. Holland is the next big one. Would be nice to keep tyreek, but I’m not sweating it either way.
