That’s not true at all. They just got paid when the market was lower. Mahomes, when he got his bag, was highest paid. When Josh Allen first got his 6year deal and 150mil guarantee, that was the nfl record at the time. In a few years, you’re gonna see 60mil a year contracts. Purdy might be the first next offseason

Mahomee signed long term a "team friendly" deal.
Their "D" won them the championship but they had to let of bunch of guys go so they lack depth I think a three peat is not happening. On to the list 1. Deshaun Watson ($230M) He may be suffering from Tiger syndrome(no more coke and hookers) 2. Joe Burrow ($219M) 2nd best QB? really? has he completed a full season yet? 3. Justin Herbert ($218M) Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane 4. Trevor Lawrence ($200M) is it a high ceiling? or a very low floor? 5. Lamar Jackson ($185M) Deserved the first MVP but can he win when it matters? 6. Jalen Hurts ($179M) Ranked #3 on the players top 100(2023) played like #93 down the stretch 7. Jared Goff ($170M) All you need is someone to billieve in you 8. Tua Tagovailoa (&167M) Very accurate passer and the coach has a perfect system for him but he needs to win in January.

Just a little disappointed JA17 wasn't ranked higher than #12 this year.
I thought he would crack the top 10 and possibly 5 But it looks like only one QB will be ranked higher this year.

I think the players love to create controversy in top 100 list.
Last year Hurts was the 3rd best player this year they have Lamont #2 with Mahomee #4 and Tyreek Hill at #1. Maybe they are trying to light a fire under Mahomees azz. 3 Chiefs in top 10 really? Kelce is on the verge of being over the hill. His regular season last year was a huge drop off...his playoff performance looked like a last harrah for an aging gladiator. Chris Jones had more to do with the Super Bowl appearance and win than Mahomee. 2 pass plays he disrupted changed the outcome of the 2 most crucial wins the 3rd down against the Bills where he walked Dawkins back into Allen thereby denying the go ahead TD. He did the same to the 49'ers LT who hit Purdy deflecting another sure TD that ultimately cost the red and gold the win. BTW Dawkins got ranked #96 on the list the 49ers LT got into the top ten and they both had the same play against the same player (Jones) that cost them the game. To me a WR can never be the #1 overall (sorry Ty) because they need a QB to throw them the ball No QB no glory plain and simple....you can be the fastest cheetah on the planet but if you have Nathan Peterman throwing you the ball statistically your dead Just look how much his stats improved in Miami vs the Chiefs where they run more of a West Coast type offence versus Miami's Air Raid //rant over// LOL

People said Miami shouldn’t sign Tua to a big contract because they wouldn’t be able to keep good players. They just locked up the best wr in the league for 4 years. The best wr2 for 4 years as well.

Lots of ways you can circumvent the cap but your only pushing the pain further down the road. I happens to every team eventually and it caught up with the Bills this year. I personally think they should set the cap at 300m and let teams keep 60 players active on Sundays with a practice squad of 20 reserves. No more vets on the PS with more than 3 years experience thats why you expand the roster by 7 and game day roster by 12 no more 5 guys inactive in the interest of player safety. JMHO

Thoughts on new kickoff rule?
I need to see it to get a feel but seems ok to me. Good thing the place kicker is usually the field goal guy or they might be out of a job.
